The Multi Floor Ferret Cage
As this is called a ferret cage you would expect this cage to be large. It doesnt dissapoint. Measuring a massive 81 x 51 x 147cm it is definately the cage for you to house a large number of rats.The cage comes with 9 shelves, which are all adjustable, together with a hammock, 2 safety ramps and a funnel. The cage has been designed with ferrets in mind, but, this cage is suitable for larger male and female adult rats. Due to the bar spacings and the height of the cage it could be a little dangerous for the smaller ones.
The cage has four openings. Two on the front, two on each side of the cage and the whole roof also lifts off. This makes it great for both access and cleaning. The bars are extremely strong and can easily support a number of rats lounging in the rat hammocks. Even with this weight the bars do not seem to warp. The base is made of strong plastic and is very deep so it keeps the bedding in well. It is possible to block off sections of the cage with additional shelves if you feel you need to seperate your pets.
If you are housing up to ten rats you may not need to look any further than this cage which gives you great value for money.
